2003 BMW 330xi - P1351

P1351 - Evap control system purge valve c-open

Problem: The car is misfiring and running rough. It has a check engine light with the following:

code P1351
Manufacturer Specific DTC.
See Service Manual

Solution: Bought a coil from local BMW dealer and replaced on cylinder 5. Worked perfectly!

Note: begin cylinder count from 1 to 6 starting front to back.

2002 BMW 530i - P0444 and P0344

P0444 - Evap control system purge valve c-open
P0344 - Cam position sensor a bank 1 intermittent

Problem: 2 different unrelated codes.... One for evap system, the other for the cam position sensor ( the car was shutting off from time to time - even on idle).

Solution: Bought the camshaft position sensor for the exhaust and replaced. Worked perfectly! Also, bought the evap purge valve. Worked perfectly!

2000 Mitsubishi Galant P403 and P0300

Problem:
P0403 - EGR Flow Malfunction
P0300 - Random/multiple misfire detected

2000 Ford Explorer - P0135

Problem: P0135 - O2 sensor heater malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1)

Solution: Seems to be the bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor. Will post the results after it is confirmed.

Problem: P0306 Cylinder 6 misfire detected

This should not be a big deal. Something is happening with the ignition/cables. Will post after fix.

Problem: P0420 - Catalyst efficiency below threshold (bank 1)

Solution: Replaced the catalytic converter.

1998 Honda Accord EX 5 Speed P0171 and P0170

P0171 - System too lean (bank 1)
p0170 - Fuel trim malfunction (bank 1)

Solution: Will post exactly what was done as soon as we get to this one.
